The Montréal Pipes and Drums (the MPD) were formed in July, 2000, by former Pipe Major Jordon Anderson. Since then, they have played in countless parades, festivals and celebrations including the Grey Cup Pre-Game show, the annual Montréal Saint Patrick's Day parade, and the North American Championships competition. In 2002, at only their fourth competition, the band won first place at the Montréal Highland Games competitions in grade four. Since 2009, the MPD have been under the direction of Pipe Major Jenna Dennison. For more information about the band and its history, please visit our About page.
The Montréal Pipes and Drums are comprised of highland bagpipes, highland snare drums and a bass drum. The MPD can perform for small or large events, providing any number of performers from one solo piper to a 10-piece band. For booking or for more information, please visit our Contact page.
