The Montréal Pipes and Drums (the MPD) were formed in July, 2000, by former Pipe Major Jordon Anderson. Since then, they have played in countless parades, festivals and celebrations including the Grey Cup Pre-Game show, the annual Montréal Saint Patrick's Day parade, and the North American Championships competition. In 2002 at only the band’s fourth competition, the Montréal Pipes and Drums took first place against 15 other bands from across the eastern seaboard. Since 2009, the MPD have been under the direction of Pipe Major Jenna Dennison. For more information about the band and its history, please visit our About Page. |
